MPA Lime members include three businesses which manufacture industrial mineral lime products which are supplied to other businesses across the diversity of applications of lime, including exports of specialist products. In addition, MPA Lime has three Associate Member businesses producing industrial mineral lime to be used as an integrated part of their manufacturing process of products for which industrial mineral lime is essential.
The role of the MPA is to provide the members with the opportunity to come together on topics of mutual industry interest including legislation, regulations, standards and generic research to combine their strengths, and for MPA Lime to provide a collective voice for the best interests of the members in advancing, protecting and representing the industry.
Full adherence to the requirements of UK legislation in the Competition Act 1998 and the Enterprise Act 2002 are ensured in every trade association meeting both online and in person.

European Lime Association (EuLA) MPA Lime and the members of MPA Lime are full and active members of the EuLA. The collaboration with colleagues in the lime industry across all of Europe provides great opportunities for industry issues to be discussed and collectively addressed, ensuring the input of the industry to regulation and legal changes and developments is available to the organisations and authorities which have responsibilities for administration of the operational framework for the international lime industry.
International Lime Association (ILA) MPA Lime and EuLA are full and active members of the ILA. The international markets that rely on the UK specialist product exports are a clear global connection in the lime sector and the opportunities to meet with and discuss lime industry issues that are across international boundaries is of great value to the UK industry.
